🖥️ First Login After Mac Reboot (VNC 5900) ▾

If Automatic Login is disabled on Mac, the pre-login lock screen (loginwindow) is handled by Apple Screen Sharing (VNC port 5900). Connect from another device (another Mac, iPad, PC via VNC), enter your macOS password, after which RemoteControl Server will resume automatically.

⚠️ You opened the client on the Mac itself. Connecting to yourself is not supported — use this address on another device:

On iPadOS (iOS 15), enable WebCodecs in Safari for low-latency hardware decoding:

Open Settings on iPad.
Go to Safari → scroll to bottom and tap Advanced.
Open Experimental Features.
Enable the WebCodecs toggle.
Return to Safari and reload the page.

💡 In third-party browsers (Chrome, Edge on iOS), this setting is not accessible due to iOS restrictions — MediaSource (MSE) fallback is used automatically.
